| Foxhunters Return - More Than Just a Bed for the Night |
There's lots happening behind the scenes to make a stay at Foxhunters even more memorable. The major project, just finished, has been the creation of a book shop in Foxhunters' remarkable cellars. This is now open to guests as well as the general public. The exterior of Foxhunters including the roof has just had a fresh paint job and is looking a million dollars and there's a new guest carpark behind the stables, which frees the courtyard of vehicles. Other projects currently on the go include the conservation of a century old outdoor privy, improvements to the gardens and grounds around Foxhunters and the establishment of a small orchard.

| Foxhunters Featured in "Great Australian Historic Hotels" |
Foxhunters Return is delighted to be included in "Great Australian Historic Hotels" published by Allen & Unwin. Recently released the book tells the story behind 30 of Australia's most historic hotels. Chosen by author Barry Stone for their ability to tell interesting tales rather than for their glamour or glitz factors, Foxhunters Return is in good company, featured alongside Melbourne's Hotel Windsor, Sydney's Grace Hotel and Hobart's Henry Jones Art Hotel. It's a fascinating look at the stories behind some of our greatest hotels and a great travel companion. Of course visitors to Foxhunters Return can purchase "Great Australian Historic Hotels" in Foxhunters' own bookshop, "
The Book Cellar."

| The Gardens at Foxhunters |
The coming of summer, wet as it was, still saw a burst of activity in the extensive grounds around Foxhunters. New additions to the garden have included raspberry and blackberry canes and passionfruit which will in time hopefully all bare fruit for the breakfast table. A small but diverse orchard has been established in our bottom paddock, along with almond and walnut trees.
